2. Purpose of processing
On behalf of my customers, I carry out employer certification based on Recommended Practice No. SNT-TC-1A – Personnel Qualification and Certification in Nondestructive Testing for NDT personnel. In this context, I am also responsible for the training with an examination.A certification is the confirmation that a person fulfills the requirements of a certification program (written practice on the above-mentioned basis). I collect, process and store personal data to issue a certificate and to document the certification requirements, training and testing.
3. Legal basis
The legal bases for the processing of personal data result from:
• Consent of the data subjects according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. A) GDPR
• Fulfillment of a contract according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. B) GDPR
The categories of personal data and the retention periods result from the general requirements of the SNT-TC-1A. The consent to me is generally given by the customer’s order. It is my customers’ responsibility to present this data protection declaration to their respective employees intended for certification and, if necessary, to separately request their consent in writing.

5. Employee commitment
All employees and partners are contractually obliged to maintain confidentiality, even after the contract has ended.
6. Personal data
Personal data is all information that belongs to an identifiable person (e.g. name, age, marital status, etc.). Data without direct personal reference can also be personal data if it can be used to refer to the related persons.I save and process personal data of the certificate holder and my contractual partners (contact person of my customers) to fulfill the above purpose.
7. Processing of personal data
The following personal data is collected, processed and stored:
• Name, first name
• Date of birth and place of birth
• Eyesight certificate
• curriculum vitae with academic and professional career
• Experience in non-destructive material testing, with mention of the employer
• Latest school report
• Proof of vocational qualification (certificate, journeyman’s certificate, or comparable)
• Certificates of participation in courses according to ISO 9712
• Evidence of qualification exams according to ISO 9712
• Certificates according to ISO 9712
• Examination results of the general Test part according to ISO 9712 (in%)
• Employer (customer) data
The aforementioned data is archived customer-related and personal for the period of validity of the certification or for the period of my assignment.After the end of the business relationship (letter of appointment) or after the end of my appointment, I will delete the aforementioned data and / or return it to my client for my relief.
8. Complaints
Complaints may be recorded on a personal basis, that means the complainant’s surname and first name are processed and stored. All complaints are checked internally and not passed on to third parties. After completing the complaints procedure, the records are anonymized and saved and stored under a measure number.
9. Appeals
Objections are recorded personally. The name and first name of the opposition leader are processed and saved. If the appeals are forwarded to third parties for review, all personal data will be anonymized. Objections will be kept under a measure number after the opposition proceedings have been completed.
10. Retention periods
Complaints and appeals are kept for 6 years. All authorization documents, training, examination and certificate files are archived for 5 years.
11. Disclosure and publication of personal data
A transfer of personal data to third parties does not take place without the consent of the person concerned, unless a legal regulation provides otherwise.
